Summary of 'Call of The Wild' Book

The Beginning

Call of The Wild opens at a ranch in Santa Clara Valley in California, where Buck, a domesticated dog, lives a comfortable life as the companion of Judge Miller. However, his life takes a dramatic turn when he is stolen from his home and sold into service as a sled dog in Alaska.

Adapting to a Harsh Environment

As Buck is transported to the unfamiliar and unforgiving wilderness of Alaska, he faces numerous challenges. He is mistreated by humans, forced to carry heavy loads, and eventually becomes feral in order to survive in the harsh environment.
